Hack@Home - Mar 2020

Project realized on the occasion of the hackathon Hack@Home during the quarantine of COVID-19 in Italy. The aim is to reduce contagions among people who have come into contact with an infected person without realizing it. The smartphone application will keep track locally of the locations visited by the individual person without ever sending them to the network and ensuring maximum security and privacy. Once discovered to be positive for COVID-19, the app will allow the patient to send a notification to all the people he has come in contact with. This is possible thanks to the interaction with the GP who will verify the swab's positivity and a specially designed web platform will start the notification. Always with the aim of protecting users' privacy, the position match always takes place on the mobile phone only.
